Hello! I'm Mai (pronounced like the month of "May"), an illustrator who specializes in layout design for print. Just like how the Container Store's organizational goodies help make everything look neat, I can transform a visually cluttered page into an organized and easily legible page using good design sense and my lovely assistant, Adobe InDesign.

In addition to the Container Store and Borders, I find inspiration from my favorite companies--Chronicle Books, Peachpit Press, Joyce Meyer Ministeries, Real Simple (magazine owned by Time, Inc.), and many others. I also enjoy sitting under a warm kotatsu table, collecting information about East and Southeast Asian cultures, and taking pictures of oddities (like the world's largest artificial artichoke in Castroville, CA).

"Cheers!" from Mai
