Amy chose me to be the local volunteer artist to work on the first graders' game table. I proposed and designed the concept of a seashore theme and achieved the overall effect using acrylic paint with color pencil accents. The kids did a wonderful job making and decorating the game pieces. This set of table, chairs, and game pieces were featured in the Bal de Paris's silent auction and raised $1,500 that night. Good job everyone! -

Ferry Building StoreOutside the Ferry Building front are stairs leading up to the second floor, so this lone artist ventured up to sketch the market floor from a higher perspective with her markers. As there were a lot of law offices on that floor, I was scared out of my wits when a security guard approached me. She didn't kick me out for trespassing like I feared, only cautioned me to not scratch the wooden railing I leaned my sketchbook on. I'm really glad that I got to finish this sketch. -
